This Heuer stopwatch was used by the Flight Controller in "Mission Control" to time the burn time remaining to propellant depletion in the "Eagle". This was the basis for the "60 seconds" and "30 seconds" reports provided to the Apollo 11 flight crew during the descent to the lunar surface, which allowed continued descent almost to the point of fuel depletion.

Transferred to the National Air and Space Museum from NASA in 1978.
