This is a set of four anti-fog pads for cleaning the visor of astronaut spacesuit visors during the Gemini XII mission in November 1966. During earlier Gemini missions, astronauts performing EVA work found that their helmet visors became foggy, so these cloths were provided to clean the visors prior to EVA. Such preparations are similar to those used by snorklers and SCUBA divers. None of these four samples were used during the mission. They were returned to Earth on the spacecraft.

NASA transferred these pads along with the Gemini XII spacecraft to the Museum in 1968.
