A Scrabble board with magnetic tiles was evaluated for possible recreational use on Skylab but was not flown on the space station in 1973-1974. Crew members generally preferred to spend leisure time reading, listening to music, and enjoying the view of Earth from the window. NASA transferred this trial set and other excess equipment to the Museum when the Skylab program ended.
