Bryant often draws illustrations and creates sculptures to visualize the exotic locales and peoples with which he fills his tales. This, the Aerial Demon Carriage (the name of it is an intentional parody of Samuel Henson’s Aerial Steam Carriage), appears in his WIP, “The Fraankes Expedition”. Constructed of wire and over three hundred and sixty pieces of cardboard, with another three hundred and sixty pieces of paper, this represents a prison ship, one in which errant sorcerers are delivered for trial.
