This is a 1:60 scale flying rocket model of the Gemini Titan II. Modified from Air Force Titan II intercontinental ballistic missiles, Gemini Titan IIs launched all ten Gemini missions during 1965-1966. The model was made by Estes Industries, one of several U.S. companies that began to commercially produce flying rocket models and associated equipment in the late 1950s.
Estes Industries donated this artifact to the Museum in 1970.
