Type ART-Prints, Original Medium Print, Lithograph on Paper, Uncolored Physical Description Uncolored lithograph of portraits of aeronauts Robert Holland, Thomas Monck Mason, and Charles Green, companions on the voyage of the Royal Nassau balloon from Vauxhall Gardens, Long to Weilberg, Nassau, Germany, on November 7, 1836. Holland funded the flight, and Green was the pilot. The portraits are surrounded by intertwined floral frames. A small balloon is in between the three portaits. Printed signatures of the three men are below the portraits. "A. Butler. Pinkit & Lithog." Dimensions Mat: 30.5 × 25.4cm (12 × 10 in.)
