Shown here is a cutaway of a nozzle for a small-scale rocket motor (type unknown) developed in the 1970s by the Thiokol Chemical Corporation's Reaction Motors Division. Copper, the constituent material, distributes the heat of combustion over short duration bursts.
Donated by the Reaction Motors Division of the Thiokol Chemical Corporation in 1977.
