Formerly owned by a Klukwan Chilkat chief; given by him to a Native (possibly Southern Tutchone) man from Kluane (Yukon Territory); acquired from the man from Kluane by Louis Levy (1866-1947, an Alaskan fur buyer) in 1907 or shortly before; acquired from Louis Levy in 1907 by Judge Nathan Bijur (1862-1930) ; inherited by his widow Lilly Prochownick Bijur (1867-1944) and son Harry Ash Bijur (1887-1972); purchased by MAI from Harry Bijur in 1965.
