Made during a pottery demonstration-workshop on the Mississippi Choctaw Reservation that the artist led in 1965; purchased by Indian Arts and Crafts Board representatives from the Choctaw Craft Association (Philadelphia, Mississippi) in 1965; part of the IACB Headquarters collection (Department of the Interior, Washington, DC) until 2000 when it was transferred to NMAI.
