Formerly owned by Joseph High Eagle (Oglala Lakota, ca. 1860-1950); acquired by Lewis Martin (Oglala Lakota, b. 1873, foreman of the blacksmith shop at Lame Deer Agency, Montana) at an unknown date: given to Frank Linabury (1872-1932) by Lewis Martin in 1913; purchased by MAI from Frank Linabury's estate in 1933.
