Washed out by the flood of 1874 on Roberts Island and found by Mr. Roberts, owner of the island; subsequently in the collection of Charles T. Steigerwalt (1858-1912, a collector of coins and antiques from Lancaster, Pennsylvania); purchased by MAI at an auction of Charles Steigerwalt's collection held by the Stanley V. Henkels & Company of Philadelphia in 1917.
