Collection history unknown; formerly in the collection of Henry W. Palm (1865-ca. 1944, a jeweler who worked in Sioux City, South Dakota, circa 1900, and later ran an Indian trading post in Albuquerque, New Mexico) and his wife Louise Palm (b. 1865); purchased by George Heye from Mr. and Mrs. Palm in 1914.
