Commissioned by Indian Arts and Crafts Board representatives in 1957 from the Northern Plains Indian Crafts Association to match a lamp base by Ronald Senungetuk (Iñupiaq, 1933-2020) ; part of the IACB Headquarters collection (Department of the Interior, Washington, DC) until 2000 when it was transferred to NMAI.
