Collection History
Probably collected between 1874 and 1877 by Lucien M. Turner (1848-1909, of the US Army Signal Corps); acquired by the U.S. National Museum (precursor to the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History) in 1887; acquired by George Heye through an exchange with the US National Museum in 1908.
