Original commission by the City of Nome, Alaska, for its City Hall, funded by the Alaska State Council on the Arts; this print purchased by Indian Arts and Crafts Board representatives from the Anchorage Historical and Fine Arts Museum (Anchorage, Alaska) in 1978; part of the IACB Headquarters collection (Department of the Interior, Washington, DC) until 2000 when it was transferred to NMAI.
