They are intended to guide scientists in making effective use of NCAR aircraft. The purpose of this bulletin is to acquaint prospective users with the capabilities of the Sabreliner aircraft. The Sabreliner aircraft is a modified version of the North American Rockwell NA 265-60, a medium-range, high-altitude, pressurized twin-jet monoplane. The Sabreliner is best suited for those research missions that require high-altitude operation (above 25,000 ft., 7.7 km) or that need to cover large distances in a minimum amount of time. Includes figures and tables detailing the aircraft's specifications and instrumentation. Show less
