The message form the director provides an overview of topics of interest. Key focuses form the year of 2002 include computing and educational efforts. Largely, the aims set forth in this report correspond to the goals established in the institutionâs strategic plan. Topics of interest include efforts made in supercomputing, atmospheric models and weather forecasting, and solar research relating to atmospheric and earth-based topics.
