The transcribed lectures and discussions by visiting authorities on theory and specific aspects of the problem, including ionospheric disturbances viewed as manifestations of gravity waves, the propagation of tropospheric disturbances upward into the high atmosphere, gravitational and thermal tidal motions, internal gravity waves and turbulence, and mountain waves, are included in this report.
