Highlights include: experimentation and troubleshooting on instruments and programs, new programs were started on observing the red line with an artificial emission line and observing the H and K lines of Barium, Strontium, and Calcium at the same point in the prominence for comparision. Work on improving the image quailty from the image tube continued and the K-coronameter operated with Dick Hansen coming to visit to plan modifications to it for the move to Hawaii. The group from Southwestern at Memphis spent about a week operating their infra-red spectrometer. Show less
