A team at NCAR has developed a rocket-borne air sampler for probing the atmosphere at altitudes more than 25 miles above the Earth's surface. The sampler is known as the ENCAR, Enclosed Cryocondenser for Air Recovery. Project scientist is Dr. Edward A. Martell.
