North Carolina State University. Engineering Operations Program.
In the 1960's, North Carolina State University's School of Engineering created a new undergraduate degree-granting program, "Engineering Operations", designed to train engineers to solve industrial problems. A much more practical course than many of its counterparts, Engineering Operations was initially intended to be only a Bachelor of Science program.
