Katharine Graham (1917-2001) was a newspaper publisher and executive with the Washington Post Company. She was on the editorial staff at the Washington Post from 1939 to 1945, was a member of the Sunday circulation and editorial departments from 1969 to 1979, served as president of the Washington Post Company from 1963 to 1973, chairman of the board from 1973 to 1993, and was Chief Executive Officer from 1973 to 1991.
