Dr. R.A. Young, Professor Emeritus of Physics, earned both his bachelor's and master's degree from Georgia Tech (1950 and 1951) and his Ph. D. from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn in 1959. In addition to teaching in the School of Physics, Dr. Young headed several branches of the EES.
