Cortada, James W.
James W. Cortada has held a variety of sales, consulting, management and executive positions at IBM in the United States (1974-present). Beginning in the late 1970s he began writing on the management and use of computers and then in the 1980s also turned his attention to the history of the business uses of computers. He is the author or editor of over two dozen books on the business uses of information technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Modern European History from Florida State University and is also the author of a number of books dealing with European diplomatic history.
