Sir Joseph Edgar Boehm, Viennese-born sculptor in Britain. He was among the most popular, prolific, and successful sculptors of late nineteenth-century England. Among his many works, he is known for sculpting the head of Queen Victoria on coinage, and the statue of the Duke of Wellington at Hyde Park Corner.
