Hemingway, George Thomson.

George Thomson Hemingway was born August 23, 1940 in Corvallis, Oregon. He received a B.S. in zoology in 1966 and an M.S. in biology in 1973 from San Diego State University. He joined the staff of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UCSD in 1966 as a marine technician and served as head of the Zooplankton Biomass Laboratory at SIO from 1968-1969. He served as coordinator of the California Cooperative Fisheries Investigation in the 1980's. He retired from SIO in 2000.
