Variant namesMitchell was a music critic; in 1959 he writes as music adviser for Faber and Faber Limited. Lucy Tal was the wife of Ernst Peter Tal, the head of the Viennese firm E.P. Tal, which published Natalie Bauer-Lechner's reminisces of Gustav Mahler in 1923.
