Atlanta symphony orchestra
Variant namesThe Atlanta Symphony Orchestra was organized in its present form in 1944. Henry Sopkin got things rolling as the conductor of the orchestra during the 1950s. Robert Shaw conducted the orchestra through the 1960s until 1988. Yoel Levi was appointed as conductor in 1988.
