Dr. Solomon B. Freehof was born in London in 1892 and at the age of eleven came to America. He settled in Cincinnati and was ordained in 1915. He settled in Pittsburgh in 1934 and was rabbi for the Rodef Shalom Congregation in Squirrel Hill.
