Willaim Henry Olmsted was a prolific photographer, active in the Syracuse Camera Club, and created a collection of historical views of Syracuse ranging from 1852-1930s; he was involved in business development in Syracuse, and owned The Olmsted Company, which specialized in saddlery and bicycle hardware, and later automobile supplies.
