Ruby Diamond, daughter of Julius and Henrietta Williams Diamond, was born on September 1, 1886, in Tallahassee, Florida. She spent most of her life trying to give back to her alma mater and to the needy people of her town. She died on March 8, 1982, in her room at the Hilton Motel.
