Wilbur, Richard

Richard Wilbur (1921- ) is an American poet, dramatist, translator, and teacher. He won the Pulitzer Prize in 1957 and 1989, the National Book Award in 1957, and numerous other awards for his writings and translations. He was United States Poet Laureate in 1987-1988.
