Grace Turnbull was a sculptor, painter, and author.

She was born in Baltimore, MD, December 31, 1880. She studied at the Maryland Institute of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and later exhibited her work in Baltimore, Washington D.C., New York, and Paris. Miss Turnbull also published several books including "Tongues of Fire" (1928), "The Essence of Plotinus" (1934), and "The Uncovered Well (1952). Grace Turnbull died in Baltimore in 1974.
