Solomon Newton Pettis was a U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania from December 7, 1868, to March 3, 1869, and Minister to Bolivia from September 4, 1878, to November 1, 1879. Michael Hahn was a U.S. Representative for Louisiana (1862-1863, 1885-1886) and Governor of Louisiana (1864-1865).
