George Jean, Nathan 1882-1958.

American theater critic, author, and editor. He edited the magazine Smart Set with H.L. Mencken from 1914-1923, founded and co-edited the magazine American Mercury with Mencken, and was one of the founding editors of the literary newspaper American Spectator.
