Bronner, Edwin B., 1920-

Edwin Bronner is a Quaker historian who, as a conscientious objector, served in CPS camps. Philip Parrish was the editor of The Oregonian.

Edwin Bronner was Chair of the Executive Committee of the American Section of the 1967 Friends World Conference Planning Committee; he was also Vice-Chair of Friends World Committee, American Section; and Chair of the 1967 Friends World Conference Committee. The fourth World Conference of Friends took place in Greensboro, N.C. at Guilford College from July 25-Aug. 2, 1967. The conference theme was, "Seek, Find, Share: the Time is this Present." There were 900 representatives appointed by their Yearly Meetings worldwide, including 550 from 26 American Yearly Meetings and some observers from other faiths.
