Brooks, Helen Lawrence Appleton, 1846-1938.
Helen Brooks was active in a number of voluntary organizations, including the Mothers' Club of Cambridge (Mass.), which founded playgrounds and vacation schools. She assisted her husband, John Graham Brooks, a Unitarian minister, with his writings.
