Benjamin F. Marsh Letter : May 8, 1864

Benjamin describes the casualties inflicted on his regiment in a skirmish with Confederate forces outside of Fredericksburg. He notes that DeWitt Spaulding was taken prisoner but that he may be released soon because other prisoners were returned to their camp earlier that day.
