Harrison Traphagen, located at Camp Benton, writes to his brother, noting that he has enclosed his picture in the letter. Traphagen notes that their Regiment is under marching orders, and will be leaving next Wednesday, supposedly for Kentucky. In preparation for marching, Traphagen writes that the men will be receiving the rest of their clothing and arms. He continues by detailing that eight Regiments will be traveling, four of Calvary and four of Infantry. Traphagen continues by acknowledging his brother's mention of the troops in Flint, Michigan. Traphagen concludes by noting that the boys are all in good health, and while the weather has begun to thaw, it has started snowing again.
