President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe hold a joint news conference in which they speak about trade between the two countries and the upcoming summit with North Korea. Trump says that he will consider inviting North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to the U.S. and possibly normalizing relations with North Korea if the summit goes well. Prime Minister Abe, speaking through an interpreter, expresses his desire for resolving the issue of Japanese abductees held in North Korea. Held in the White House Rose Garden.
