Benjamin F. Marsh Letter : September 14, 1864

Benjamin notes that many of the recent letters addressed to him were redirected to another camp, so he is worried that any money his mother sent may be lost. Benjamin also asks his mother to send the order under which he enlisted so that he may have documentation to prove when he is legally free to return home. He mentions that he likes cooking for the hospital stewards but that he is homesick. Benjamin says that seeing a "White Woman" reminded him of how much he missed home.
