Poet and author Carolyn Forché discusses her travels as a poet, meeting other poets in war-torn countries, and the role of poetry in politics, current events and in the academy. Michigan State University Professor Anita Skeen, arts coordinator and director of the MSU Residential College in the Arts and Humanities' Center for Poetry introduces Forché.
