A letter from W. W. Olds to his sister and friends at home. Olds thanks his sister for a letter she sent, and discusses his worries about the war. Olds says that his unit is mostly well but notes that there are many sick soldiers, and discusses drilling and camp life at Camp Kellogg, near Grand Rapids, Michigan.
