John Bryden, member of the Canadian Parliament, journalist and researcher delivers a talk entitled, "Transparency: An Issue of National Survival in an Increasingly Globalized World" at the Michigan State University Main Library. Bryden talks about the modern ability to obtain information via the internet, and the scope of management, mismanagement and corruption. He explains the need to change freedom of information laws to allow people to obtain documents and information that exposes wrong-doing. Bryden answers questions from the audience.
