President Obama speaks during the White House reception for the 35th Kennedy Center Honorees who include: actor Dustin Hoffman, ballerina Natalia Makarova, blues-man Buddy Guy, TV talk show host David Letterman, and Led Zeppelin rock band members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones. Obama jokes that, "Tonight, we continue a tradition here at the White House by honoring some extraordinary people who have no business being on the same stage together." He reflects on their careers, how they got their starts, and jokes freely with the audience.
