Busy place
Furst, Jacobs, & Co's quarry at south Marquette is about the busiet place in the city now. Over a hunred men are employed in or about the quarry, and the mill for sawing the brownstone is run night and day, while the force is the quarry itself works 2 1/2 hours every night after supper, making a pretty long day of it.
