Thomas-Prescott Letter : April 24, 1864

This letter is the Reid Institute's response to B. H. Thomas' condemnation of the school as overly exclusive. They feel justified in their decision not to fund the person for whom Thomas is advocating. The writer of the letter maintains that the Institute's policies are strict but fair.
