Biography/Profile
University Relations coordinates all mass communication services of the University, which reach the general public. It includes both campus and extension activities. As of 2002, University Relations was to report directly to the President.
University Relations has since merged with the Office of University Marketing to form Strategic Relations and Communications.

The Iowa Stater - a bimonthly publication for alumni and parents, began
September 1,1974 as a merger of The Alumnus and News of Iowa State and was discontinued in 2001.
