The Fancy Costume includes a lace bonnet decorated with flowers and ribbons, the Betsy collar (Elizabethan revival ruffle), puffed leg-of-mutton sleeves and cuffed wrists, a belt emphasizing the waist. The Woman's Dress is a redingote with fabric apron overlay, wide and loose sleeves, cuffed at the wrist, a belted waits and decorate detailing leading from the overlay down the front of the dress. The bonnet frames the face with a lace veil and feathers and ribbon to decorate.
