Biographical / Historical Note

The "Flying Fercos" were a group of entertainers formed by the Fercos family who specialized in juggling and high flying acrobatics. The family, originally from Czechoslovakia, was discovered by Las Vegas, Nevada producer Frederic Apcar in Switzerland in the early 1970s. Acpar invited the Fercos family to bring their act to Las Vegas as part of his show, Casino de Paris, at the Dunes Hotel. The "Flying Fercos" performed at the Dunes Hotel throughout the 1970s and 1980s. After their parents retired, two of the siblings, Tony and Ferdinand, created a new act that included magic and exotic animals. For over thirty years the Fercos have traveled throughout the United States and around the world with their act.
